Grandmaster HO Chuk Lam
The maternal grandfather of Dr. Antony Kwong Yu POON, Grandmaster HO was a paramount authority in Lingnan bone-setting and traumatology and a revered educator in Traditional Chinese Medicine, as well as one of the founding masters of China's ten major modern schools of bone-setting and traumatology. His martial lineage traced to Master HU Xian and monks of the Shaolin tradition. Embodying the unity of medicine and martial arts, his lifelong dedication to the principle of "Healing the Wounded and Rescuing the Dying" profoundly shaped subsequent generations and serves as the foundational ethos and driving force behind NuAge.
Ms. HO Mei Sim
The mother of Dr. Antony Kwong Yu POON and daughter of Grandmaster HO Chuk Lam, Ms. HO carried her family’s medical tradition into a new chapter of cross-border healthcare service. In the 1980s, she pioneered collaboration with the First Military Medical University and Nanfang Hospital to provide medical services for overseas Chinese communities, establishing the Wai Kiu Agency Department and several Wai Kiu Buildings. Her work opened a new path for overseas Chinese medical services and helped bring the PLA medical university and Nanfang Hospital to wider international recognition. By extending the family’s healing tradition from clinical care to cross-border healthcare service, she became an important spiritual inspiration behind Dr. Poon’s later mission to bring medical innovation to the world.
Dr. Antony Kwong Yu POON
In 1992, Dr. POON, together with the First Military Medical University and the Lee Kum Kee Group, co-founded Guangdong Nan Fang Lee Kum Kee Company Limited, the entity that would evolve into Infinitus (China) Company Limited, which has since become a titan in China's health industry. In 2023, driven by a vision to bring China's indigenous cutting-edge medical innovations to the world stage, he founded NuAge (China) Limited.
In December 2025, Dr. POON, on behalf of NuAge (Shaanxi), signed a pivotal Technology (Patent Rights and Technical Know-how) Transfer Agreement with China Rongtong Scientific Research Institute Group (Scientific Research Achievements of Air Force Medical University of PLA), accelerating the industrialization of our anti-GDF15 oncology program.
